Join us for a lovely hike & weeding event to help birds !

sunday may 21st, 12:30pm Weir River farm

The beautiful conservation land at Hingham's historic Weir River Farm needs our help!

On May 21st  at 12:30 pm, we will hike approximately 20 minutes (on nature trails) to reach an area that is threatened by invasive Garlic Mustard plants.  These invaders harm birds, butterflies and native wildflowers.

We will weed for an hour or so, then hike back to the parking area.

The Trustees staff will pick up our trash bags of weeds the next day.

No experience necessary!  We will show you what to do.

Please meet by 12:30 at the Parking Area at 115 Turkey Hill Lane, Hingham MA.

Please wear close-toed shoes, long pants, long sleeves and garden gloves.

Community service hours are available for teens!
